The Cube Audio Mésalliance is a two-way loudspeaker system featuring the 10-inch Cube Audio F10 Monet full-range driver paired with a 15-inch woofer—a professional-grade transducer designed for live music reinforcement. The name "Mésalliance" reflects the blending of two distinct worlds: the "aristocratic" lineage of audiophile full-range drivers and a professional-grade woofer originally engineered for live performance rather than as a luxury consumer product. The system utilizes a dipole design, with a crossover point set at approximately 150 Hz. The goal was to create a relatively compact system that offers maximum flexibility in terms of configuration. Due to this design—and the inherent loss in low-frequency efficiency—the speakers are intended exclusively for use in a bi-amplified setup.
While the full-range section can be driven by a low-wattage amplifier—much like any standalone Cube Audio driver—we recommend using a powerful solid-state or Class D amplifier (at least 100 W) for the woofer section. We present a system that you can enjoy regardless of the power output of your chosen amplifiers. The Mésalliance speaker system is suitable for rooms ranging from 15 to 40 m².
